Two Days to Go!

The wedding is in two days and I imagine that things have probably gone a whole lot smoother than they do for many brides. I’m blessed and lucky.

With that said, HOLY COW! I’ve basically given most of what I own to charity at this point (which is a good thing) but I look around my bedroom at 6:10 am and see too much stuff still! I’ve got a case of the nerves, can’t eat, can’t sleep and can’t sit still. I’m exhausted but still running around. You really cannot understand what this is like until you do it yourself!

Ken is on his flightly from London now, will see him in a bout 12 hours. I have that much time to pack what’s left of my clothes and personal effects, do my hair (dye), get my mani/pedi done for the wedding, figure out WTF is going on with Mom and Aunt Helen’s hotel room and uh, panic?! AAAAAHHHH! (Ken said this would happen.)

Thank  you to everyone who has sent cards and letters. We appreciate all of them! We’ll be sending formal thank yous mid November so look for yours! Also, for those who never got their invites but wanted a keepsake from the wedding, I’ll send them when we get back to  Phoenix hopefully!!

On that note, we’ll try to post the video from the wedding ceremony as well as photos when we get home. (Home! I said it, HOME!) I’m looking forward to the getting home and settled part. Lots of money spent on cats and still more to spend to get their pet passports sorted out. Glad I got mine sorted but waiting on the UK Visa decision. *crosses fingers*

Also, got two leads on jobs. Prayers for us as I could really use a job to help me 1) make some money back to help Ken pay for this 2) socialize with my new fellow worker-bees in the English job market. I’m looking forward to meeting new people, seeing new things of of course, foremost, marrying my beloved one.

I really am the luckiest woman I know. Despite my stress these last months (and subsequent weight gain), I’m really so blessed and so lucky to have Ken in my Life. No matter what we do, he’s supportive, gentle, loving, affectionate, kind and those things matter more even in times of stress and worry. I’m really fortunate and blessed!

Oops! I forgot, be posting again after this with additional wedding details! Not sure if I will password protect the post to keep out strangers. We’ll see.

Love – k
