Home from England

I spent the last week in England, returning last night. It was a long journey both to and from (of course) but well worth it to spend the week with @kentague.

I arrived last Saturday night around midnight, having been sick all day at work. We got home and I don’t remember much after that! Lots of canoodling that is for sure. I spent Monday sick as well and crashed on the couch for a few hours while Kenneth made dinner. Tuesday was pub time with his friends and adventuring about. Wednesday was coffee with Mum and Arthur then after we met with Lin, Paul and Mike for dinner at a chinese restaurant in Liverpool. Thursday is a blur, Friday was tattoos. 🙂

Yes, I did say “tattoos”. Kenneth said when we first starting talking tats that he did not have one and would not get one. After I had joked about getting matching initial tats for months, he brought it up Thursday and said he’d like to do it. After spending quite a while being unable to decide on the design, we settled on something that is whimsical and meaningful to both of us. We got inked on Friday, the day before my plane was to leave back home to Phoenix.

We spent a lot of time outdoors, walking the dogs and perusing the area. We didn’t get to Wales or spend much time in Liverpool but that’s for the future, once we’re married. We’ll have plenty of time to visit about then.

Still feeling sick to my stomach but feel better than before. Time to rest up before work and I’ll share more thoughts later this week on my trip to England.
